행 20:28-38

28절: 삼가라 pay careful attention 

에 6:10-12. 악의 영을 상대. 어떻게?

행 20:31. 하나님의 말씀을 기억하라. 

영적인 위기와 공격을 체감하고 (28절) 먼저 자기를 위하여 그리고 양떼를 위하여 삼가라. 내가 깨어 있어야 남을 섬길 수 있다. 

거룩하라. 32절. 성도의 정체성. 거룩이란? 믿음의 성숙-형이상학적인 단어(거룩)를 삶 가운데 적용. 

거룩-구별되다. 하나님의 말씀 안에 있다. 33절-35절 거룩 - 물질과 관용(어떻게 여기고 쓰고 있는가)에 대한 나의 견해. 물질로부터 나는 얼마나 자유한가. 

디모데전서 6:10-12  탐심을 제어하고 믿음의 선한 싸움을 싸우라. 

35절. 주는 것이 받는 것보다 복이 있다. 

출 20:17. 네 이웃의 소유를 탐내지 말라. 

거룩은 물질에 대한 나의 자세. 물질로부터 삶을 지켜내라. 

‘조금만 더’ 는 결단코 채워지지 않는다. 

야고보서 1:15

함께 하라. 

죽을 때 무엇으로 후회할까. 돈? 권력? No. 

관계로 후회한다. 

37-38절. 

롬 1:12 피차의 안위함

서로를 불쌍히 여기는 마음. 

히브리서 10:23-25

삼가라. 거룩하라. 함께하라. 

What is faith? How then shall we live?

어떻게 살아낼 것인가

히 10:23-25 믿음생활은 관계에서 확인된다. 나와 다른 사람들 속에서 나를 발견할 수 있다. 관계에 동참하자. 

히브리서 말씀: encouraging words to a suffering community. 

“담대함을 버리지 말라“

• 현실을 바로 보라
• How do I know that I have faith? 믿음은 시력, 시선, 시각, 시야다. 
• 성도의 피해의식: 감사가 없다, 열등감, 늘 화가 나 있다. 환경을 탓하면서 아무 것도 하지 않는다. 
• 구원받은 삶: 환경이 바뀌지 않아도 피해 의식에서 벗어나 감사하는 삶. 고난을 통해 나를 단련하시는 하나님을 발견. 히 10:32
• 믿음이 있다 -> 현실을 부인하지 않고 고난까지도 은혜의 선물임을 깨닫는 것. 과거는 더이상 상처가 아니라 배움의 기회이다. 
• 담대함: 히 10:35. -> 나의 선택이다. How? 우리가 무엇을 소유하고 있는지 기억하라. 영생, 구원. 내 인생의 가치는 예수님. 세상의 부와 권력에 비굴해질 필요가 없다. ”나는 하나님의 자녀입니다“ 이 외에 나를 빛나게 할 세상의 것이 아무 것도 없다. 
• 우리의 믿음의 선택이 상을 가져올 것이다. 히 11:24-26 모세의 선택. 믿음의 결단으로 손해보지 않는다. 히 6:10 ‘하나님은 잊어버리지 아니하시느니라’. 
• 삶 속에서 믿음의 선택을 기꺼이 하자. 담대함을 버리지 말자. 믿음의 특권을 누리자. 
• 고난을 기뻐할 수 있는 이유- 믿음이 있기 때문 야고보서 1:2-4
• 히 10:39 ‘우리는 믿음을 가진 자라’ 
• 믿음: 세상에 이해할 수 없는 일들이 일어나는 중에도 하나님은 일하고 계신다.

Who is a Christian? 

Christians: the disciples of Jesus who accepted the teaching (the gospel) of Jesus through th eApostles (or the first disciples of Jesus)

25 Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, 26 and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch. (Acts 11:25-26)

What does a Christian believe?

A Christian believes in Jesus, Jesus is the Lord. 

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

I believe in God,
